German Riesling (Part 2), Bordeaux 1998 & 1999 - September 14, 2022

The 2022-2023 tasting season regular meetings began with more German whites and some older Bordeaux offerings. With regards to our older Bordeaux reds, the lesson to be learned is the importance of climate control: a number of wines that should have lasted were undrinkable (e.g, Clos des Jacobins, Clinet). Wines that were retained in a stable, cool environment drank well, even after 20 years.
