Le Tastevin Wine Club - 2003 Burgundy – April 24, 2019

The 2003 vintage was very warm, in fact the hottest summer and earliest harvest on record. It was also the smallest harvest since 1984, and it was very "un-burgunidan", i.e., with overripe alcohol and low acidity. Many of these wines "can taste like California Pinot".
